Recipient Encryption

The configured encryption type for the recipient will vary and may require password setting.

Typical recipients include:

• Default: No encryption required
• Encrypted Tag: The value of the configured DICOM tag is automatically used as the password for encryption.

• On-Demand: The password used for encryption must be manually entered.
• Pre-Set Password: Password set by System Administrator

Step 1: Click the Set Password button. Auto-generation of encryption passwords available and can be enabled by your site Administrator.

Step 2: A separate window labeled Encryption Password appears. Set the password for the USB Flash Drive.

Passwords are case sensitive and a typical minimum length is 6. However, password criteria are set by your facility’s systems administrator.

Any error that occurs will not allow you to set the password and will not allow you to continue with the job.

Click Cancel to exit Encryption Password screen.
